Consider this: our deep fascination for old things. The effect that ancient objects and buildings have on us, especially when we discover them by ourselves. I mean, the feeling you get when you find a book from the 19th century in an empty library? The intimacy of touching such an ancient thing so carefully? The mysticism of walking through a silent cathedral just like people did five centuries ago? The smell of 1500 years of history emanating from every wall in Hagia Sophia? The effort in imagining how the Roman Forum or Machu Picchu originally looked like? Don't even get me started on mummies or graveyards oh my i am crying rn

🌿Living in my 1863 farmhouse is like a therapeutic walk in the woods. Just like the magic whispers of old tree,my home also whispers to me. I love surrounding myself with antiques, there is something so comforting about things that have been around for a long time. They have many wise things to whisper. You just have to listen closely.🌾 By: The rustic farmhouse

Hello World

Although I spend far too much time admiring and watching everyone’s lives daily, I’ve lacked the confidence to share the ins and outs of my own. I had spent a lot of the year ashamed, broken, far from Jesus, and few other things. I never quite felt good enough, let alone normal. But we all know I’m not normal Haha.

The past 3-5 months have been an incredible journey of self discovery, maturing in ways I never imagined, mourning, joy, and running straight back to Jesus. There’s a whole lot going on in this world of mine, but here I am, finally willing to share little glimpses as I continue finding out what I’ve made of.
